The project posing the reflection over the research of the psychological-sexual identity (queer discourse), as well as with technical-cultural manners of communication which can implement these concepts into our reality.

According to Prof. Artur Rejter: queer discourse, is embracing certain typological set of contexts and communications conventions (verbal and nonverbal), contributing abstract or specific type of the communications behaviour, being manifested in specific texts, updates of types of the speech, possible for observation on lower levels of the natural code.

Everything is pointing to that irrespective of how we are seen or more essential – whom we consider ourselves, to be our basic structure is common, though heterogeneous in its internal and outside forms.

Photographs showing the matter of human blood, in their ontological layer are referring to the visual structure of the graphical QR code. Its specificity shows the gigantic number of variations, the originality and the uniqueness of the module. Communicative and cultural character of this specific sign can reflect in intimate contact with it, constituting the bridge for sex performativity idea, and at the same time the barrier for her stereotyped reception. With its help we can reward autonomies as well as notice their common origin.

Microscopic examination of a living blood drop is a diagnostic procedure that dates back to the early 20th century. Already at that time, scientists noticed the great potential of monitoring physiological functions in this intriguing way. In theory, this method can serve to assess the body’s ability to maintain internal balance – homeostasis. Apparatus used in this process also enables to archive photographic-film materials of the analyzed samples.

Starting point and one of the most important assumptions of the project was to inform people about the possibilities offered by mentioned form of diagnostics. As a result, individuals who decided to undergo the examination, became active participants in the creative process, and accompanying them in this experience played an significant role in shaping the entire realization.

The research carried out as part of the Queer Code project was conducted in the Frankomed clinical specialists’ office: Piotrkowska Street 134 – Lodz, Poland.
